On the afternoon of June 9, 2026, local time, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing after concluding the state visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Xi Jinping’s entourage, including Peng Liyuan, wife of General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese President Xi Jinping; Cai Qi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee; and Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, returned on the same flight.
